On January 19, at around 01:30, a fire broke out in the shelter of the engineer sniper company of the RA Defense Military Unit located in the territory of Azat village, Gegharkunik region, as a result of which 15 servicemen were killed, and the condition of 3 servicemen is assessed as serious. The Catholicos of All Armenians All-Armenian expressed his condolences to the families of the soldiers killed in the fire.
