Destroyed Holy Cross Church of Chichkhanavank reconstructed and anointed


The Primate of Gugark Diocese Archbishop Sebouh Chuldjian consecrated Holy Cross Church of Chichkhanavank. The holy place dating back to the 6th century was destroyed in the result of 1988 earthquake. Hayk and Hilda Manjikians assumed the responsibility of funding the reconstruction of the Monastery. The architect is Stepan Nalbandyan.

Summer Camp operating under Holy Mother of God Church in Odzun

A Church to be built in Shirakavan village


The Community Office has allocated around 1200 sq. m. area to Shirak Diocese to construct a church in the village. The initiative to implement the undertaking was assumed by Moscow-based brothers Tavrizyansoriginally from the village Shirakavan. Bishop Mikael Ajapahian, the Primate of the Diocese offered ground-blessing service of the church.
