During the reign of His Holiness the Patriarch, about 300 churches were built, renovated and consecrated, 25 monasteries came under the administration of the Mother See. 26 years ago, the Armenian Church entered a new era of systemic reforms, spiritual awakening, and ecclesiastical and social changes. The Gevorgyan Seminary, which is today the only educational institution that can award a candidate of theology degree, has experienced a revival. In 25 years, the treasury of the Mother See's relics has been enriched with rare relics. Through the mediation and administration of the Patriarch, 32 reliquaries of the relics of pan-Christian saints were brought to Holy Etchmiadzin, with various sacred relics that have miraculous power to dispel the mental and physical illnesses of believers.
