Holy Thursday in the Armenian Mother Cathedral of Moscow


On March 29, Holy Thursday, a number of God-honoring ceremonies took place in Holy Transfiguration Church of Moscow. 

Relic of the Lord’s Cross in the Holy Cross Church of Samara


On May 26, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, the Primate of the Armenian Dioceses of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan paid a pastoral visit to Samara taking the Relic of the Lord’s Cross with him. The Armenians settled in Samara had the opportunity to touch the holy relic in the Holy Cross Church till late night and enjoy the grace it shed.

Choir of Gevorkian Theological Seminary perform in the Armenian Prelacy of Moscow


On February 5, “Etchmiadzin ”Choir of Gevorkian Theological Seminary gave a concert in the banquet hall of the Armenian Church of Moscow performing spiritual and secular songs. 

The Right Hand Reliquary of St. Gevork the Warrior was taken to Moscow from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin


To meet the request of Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan – the Primate of the Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan, the right hand reliquary of St. Gevork the Warrior was taken from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin by the blessing of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. On September 24, the commemoration day of the saint, the holy relic was taken to St. Gevork Chapel in Moscow for the worship of believers. 

Cultural days of Artsakh in Moscow


Cultural days of Artsakh were wrapped up in the Diocesan Center of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan of Moscow. The Sunday Divine Liturgy was attended by the Artsakh Government representatives headed by the President Bako Sahakyan, as well as the Primate of Diocese His Holiness Pargev, Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Armenia to Russia, national philanthropists, public and cultural figures.
