Premiere of “Karine” Operetta in Paronyan TheatreOn January 25 and 26, the State Theatre of Musical Comedy after HakobParonyan hosted a premiere. After many years of interval, the Armenian stage again received the operetta “Karine” of Tigran Chukhajyan. The operetta of Chukhajyan was first staged in Yerevan in 1940-ies. This performance of Yervand Ghazanchyan is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the operetta’s first staging in Yerevan.

Aram GharabekianIn 1996, after quitting the position of Lead Conductor of Boston Symphonic Orchestra, Aram Gharabekian returned Armenia. In his homeland, he was entrusted with the responsibility of combining Yerevan State Chamber Orchestra and Armenia State Chamber Orchestra to create one Orchestra.
