The Danger: So Close, So Far


Labor migration keeps to be the main subsistence for a vast number of Armenian families since the indepence of Armenia. Basically men from 22 to 55 leave to work in another country. It's them and their families that become vulnerable for HIV....
The heroes of the film are real people with their real stories. How and why did their fate change, what did in their lives change after the detection of HIV, was there a chance to avoid it....
The film also provides HIV-related statistics in Armenia. The film is produced with the financial support of World Vision Armenia and the European Union.

''Youth must pave its road itself '', is absolutely sure Mushegh Hovsepyan, the hero of our program.
His wish is to help people with disabilities. Within the scope of the program "Yerevan is My City, too", he produced a photo-series using it as means to speak out the issue of accessible transport for the people with disabilities.
"I do not think that we should fight for our rights only. They are our friends, our partners, and their problems are as much ours".

Khachatur, a pupil of secondary school, is regularly being mocked for studying well and reading much. When the Fr. learns about it, he turns to Hayk who is a pupil of older classes. With the help of the priest, Hayk organizes an "Experts" game-competition at school where Khachatur, through his brilliant knowledge, wins football match tickets for his friends. The attitude of his classmates starts to change....
