Donation of Canadian Armenian children to their coevals in the borderland villages of Armenia
By the initiative of Armenian Diocese in Canada, the children of Vancouver and other cities organized fundraising for the borderland village children of Armenia. An amount equaling to around 5 million 250 thousand drams was collected. The money was delivered to the Diocese of Vayots Dzor, where the Primate of the Diocese Archbishop Father Abraham Mkrtchyan organized its distribution in Sers and Bardzruni communities.

Pomegranate blessing ceremony on the New Year night in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
This is the second year since under the presidency of Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians the thanksgiving message in all churches of Armenia is followed by the marvelous pomegranate blessing ceremony.
The pomegranate blessing ceremony in the Mother Cathedral was served by the Catholicos of All Armenians.

St. Stephan Church of Doghis re-consecrated
Doghs community of around 1500 population is located 4 km north from Etchmiadzin. The holy place of the village – St. Stephen Church, united the community around itself since 17th century. In Soviet years it was damaged seriously. Today, the newly renovated and re-consecrated St. Stephen Church invites to enter its arches.

Holy Altar of Holy Mother of God Church in Artimet village was consecrated
The newly-constructed Holy Altar of Holy Mother of God Church in Artimet village located a few kilometers away from Etchmiadzin, was consecrated by the Primate of Armavir Diocese Bishop Zion Adamyan. The new altar bears the name of the father of faith of Armenians Gregory the Illuminator.

Concert of “Arahet” (Pathway) Choir – a journey along the pathways of spiritual music
On November 23, Komitas Chamber Music House brought together the fans of choir music under its roof. “Arahet” Female Choir was having yet another concert in Yerevan. Their playlist included spiritual compositions of Armenian and European modern and classic composers.

From November 18-19, International Conference on the Issues (regulation of language, creation of terminology and neologism) of Modern Armenian was held in the Faculty of Philology, Yerevan State University. The conference conjoined linguists from dozens of Armenian and Diaspora organizations of Armenian studies.
