Tumanyan’s house in Tbilisi was returned to the Armenian community


The last apartment of Tumanyan in Tbilisi was located on Amaghleba street 18 of old Tbilisi.  The renovation, improvement and refurbishment of the house returned to the Armenian Diocese in Georgia was implemented through the support of Jinishian Memorial Foundation and IdeA Foundation and the Diocese.

Shamkhoretsots Surb Astvatsatsin Church in Tbilisi is in the danger of final destruction. The issue was raised by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia.
 

Feast of Tearnyndaraj in the Armenian Diocese of Georgia


The bonfire of Tearnyndaraj was lighted in the Armenian Diocese of Georgia. On the evening of February 13, a Divine Liturgy was offered in the Armenian Apostolic Churches of Georgia. The festive fire of Tearnyndaraj was lighted in the backyards of St. Gevork Cathedral and Holy Etchmiadzin Church of Havlabar. A blessing ceremony of newlyweds was offered. 
 

Feast of St. Sarkis the Captain in Tbilisi


Big celebrations of the Feast of St. Sarkis was celebrated in the Armenian Diocese of Georgia. On the eve of the feast, the procession of Georgian Armenians marched from Holy Etchmiadzin Church of Havlabar to the district Khurpukh guided by the church clergy. Singing sharakans, they led people to the same-name chapel built in 1883.
