August 12 was festive for Tavush Marz’s border village Movses. It's been several years since the villagers mark the second Sunday of August as the village day. They chose this time of the year so that other villagers living in Diaspora would also be at the village.

4th International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films “Fresco” kicked off
On August 25, 4th International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films “Fresco” was launched near abouts of Swan Lake in Yerevan. 42 films from 25 countries were included in the program. The films of documentalist Ara Vahuni will be screened in the frame of the festival.

The feast of “Haghartsin Week” which was launched on August 7, will continue till August 13. Groups of pottery, carpet-weaving, cross-stone making, miniature, batic, crafts will be organized in the surrounding of Hamalir, screenings and discussions of spiritual films will be held, along with folk song and dance open air classes.
