	A Church to be built in Shirakavan village The Community Office has allocated around 1200 sq. m. area to Shirak Diocese to construct a church in the village. The initiative to implement the undertaking was assumed by Moscow-based brothers Tavrizyansoriginally from the village Shirakavan. Bishop Mikael Ajapahian, the Primate of the Diocese offered ground-blessing service of the church.
	In Metsavan community of Gugark Diocese, a khackkar (cross-stone) was consecrated dedicated to the m Near St. Gevork Church of Metsavan, a kkachkardedicated to the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide was opened. The author is the master of khachkars Sayat Kotsenian.
	Symposium on Armenian Language in the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan Holy Transfiguration Church of Moscow hosted a symposium on the topic of teaching Armenian and Armenian studies. The event was organized by the Center of Armenology of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan.
	The priests of Gugark Diocese help patients with blood needs The clergy of Gugark Diocese, members of Narekatsi Youth Union and the staff of MED medical center in Lori Marz united under the umbrella of one idea – to help those with blood needs. Under the guidance of the Primate of the Diocese Archbishop Sebouh Chouldjian, 20 of them donated blood, each one around 350-380 ml.
	Blessing day of the youth in Gugark Diocese On the blessing day of the youth, Divine Liturgy was offered in St. Sarkis Church of Gugark Diocese. The initiators of the Feast of St. Sarkis were the members of Narekatsi Youth Union.
	18 military officers awarded in Gugark Diocese On the occasion of 23rd anniversary of the Armenian Army, high-rank officials of Third Army Corpus organized an event in the Official hall of St. Grigor Narekatsi Church in Vanadzor. During the event, 18 military officers were awarded.
	Phase 4 of charity program “Extend Your Hand” Phase 4 of charity program “Extend Your Hand” came to life in Gugark Diocese. The participants of the initiative install food boxes in the largest supermarkets of Vanadzor and collect food, items for hygiene care, clothes and money to further pass them to socially insecure families.
	The cross of Geghtsonts Zham (St. Grigor Lusavorich Church) was consecrated in Gyumri St. Grigor Lusavorich Church destroyed in 1988 earthquake is currently under renovation. These days, the cross of Geghtsonts Zham (St. Grigor Lusavorich Church) was consecrated by the Primate of Shirak Diocese Bishop Michael Ajapahian.
	Second stage of the program “One Postcard – One Apartment” completed This time, within the scope of the program “One Postcard – One Apartment”, the youth of St. Yotverk (seven wounds) Church of Shirak Diocese sold around 13000 postcards. The raised funds were used to purchase an apartment for the family of Artyom Poghosyan, who has a third degree disability.
	Requiem Service to the memory of 1988 earthquake victims offered in Gugark Diocese Gugark Diocese commenced the commemoration events of the victims of 1988 Spitak earthquake from Spitak city. The service was offered in St. Harutyun Church. A Requiem Service was also offered in Martyrs Park of Vanadzor Holy Mother of God Church at the memorial-khachkar dedicated to the memory of earthquake victims.
	Visit of the Minister of Culture of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan to Tavush Marz On October 31, the Minister of Culture of Armenia visited TavushMarz. She met with the teachers of Noyemberyan Music School and familiarized with the progress of restoration works of Goshavank and Varagavank. While visiting Dilijan State Music School, the Minister met with the artists and scholars of the region and attended the exhibition and concert of the region’s gifted children.
	“Katnaghbyur (Milk Spring)” creative camp in Gyumri From August 1 to September 26, creative youth gathering called Katnaghbyur was held. 200 children participated in the Republican contest “I am the Daredevil of Sasun” organized within the frame of the initiative. The final phase included meeting of 25 best participants in Gyumri.
