On June 21, the crosses of the Holy Savior Cathedral of Gyumri were consecrated and installed. The Church was ruined in 1988 from the destructive earthquake.

Bas relief of Vysotsky in Yerevan


On June 6, nearby Cafesjian Center, the bas relief of V. Vysotsky was opened. The author is the famous Latvian sculptor Janis Strupulis, the donator – International Association Peace Cup. The opening ceremony was followed by pieces of Vladimir Vysotsky’s songs in Cafesjian sculpture garden.

On May 24, in the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhijevan, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan consecrated the newly-constructed Holy Saviour (Amenaprkich) Church in Nizhny Novgorod. The same day the Museum located on the ground floor of the Church was opened too.

Concert of Artsakh State Academic Choir in the Armenian Church Complex of Moscow

Opening of 10th international music festival “National Gallery”


On May 7, the jubilee concert season of the festival was launched at the Fresco Hall of the National Gallery. The opening concert was featured by the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia headed by conductor Harutyun Arzumanyan. The guest of the evening was Switzerland-based opera singer Varduhi Khachatryan.

Hereafter, the Culture House after Charles Aznavour in Vanadzor will be the address of the branch Armenian State Philharmonic in Lori Marz. As it is necessary to have a local staff collected whenever concerts and other musical events are held, it was determined to set up the branch in Vanadzor.
