	Feast of the Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin Today is the Feast of the Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin. Under the presidency of Karekin II the Supreme Catholicos, the festive Divine Liturgy was attended by the Armenian Patriach of Jerusalem, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and other higher officials.
	Visit of the Armenian Patriarch to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Today the Archbishop Nourhan Manougian, Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. After renewing his oath in front of the Holy Altar of Descent, he met with Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians.
	America-basedpilgrims in Holy Etchmiadzin Pilgrims of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of the USA, Houston, were in Armenia on two-week visit under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Martiros Hakobyan and Rev. Fr. Simeon Odabashyan, Vicar of the Diocese. Most of them visit Armenia for the first time.
	Gathering of Armenian Church History teachers in Alaverdi Culture House The initiative to gather all Armenian Church History teachers of Tumanyan region in Alaverdi Culture Housewas taken by Rev. Fr. Vardan Navasardyan, Director of the Christian Education Centre of the Mother See. The Culture House also housed the clergy serving in that very region.
	Tour of “Sebastatsis (Of Sebastia)” Teacher Choir The Choir of Yerevan Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex left for Lori Marz with the mission of voicing Komitas’ songs in regions. The pilgrims first stationed in St. Harutyun Church of Spitak. The Choir was established in 2012, on the initiative of Sebastatsiner Educational Foundation. The Artistic Director is Harutyun Topikyan, conductor and the founder of State Chamber Choir of Yerevan,
	The participants of the International Consultation arrive in the Mother See Since November2013, the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II is one of the selected Presidents of the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches for the coming eight years. From June 11-12, under the presidency of the Supreme Patriarch, an international consultation called “Crisis in Syria: Challenges for Faith Communities” will be held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Other representatives from the Near East, Syria, Russia, European countries and from Christian denominations of the USA also arrived in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
	News from Dioceses Argentine Armenian benefactor Hovhannes Mirijan was honored with Saint Nerses the Graceful Medal. His Eminence ArmashNalbandian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Damascus, attended the Consecration Service of the newly appointed Patriarch of the Assyrian Orthodox Sister Church. From June 2 to 6, a meeting on prison ministry was held at St. Mikayel Seminary of Cardiff, United Kingdom. A new parish community of the Armenian Apostolic Church was established in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands, uniting around 50 families.
	Visit of Jewish poet Alexander Poryadochni to the Mother See This Sunday Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin hosted Jewish poet Alexander Poryadochni. He visited Armenia first time in 1987, following the Karabakh movement and the war. He has summed up his impressions from the heroic war in his Silver Thread poem. It is now available in Armenian, Russian and English.
	Feast of Pentecost in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin 50 days after the Feast of Resurrection Pentecost is celebrated. It is the commemoration of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles. Today both in and out of the Cathedral were gathered believers coming for pilgrimage from various areas of Armenia and Diaspora, foreign tourists. The celebrant of festivity was Father Zakaria Baghumyan.

	Armenian Church in Nizhny Novgorod was consecrated On May 24, in the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhijevan, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan consecrated the newly-constructed Holy Saviour (Amenaprkich) Church in Nizhny Novgorod. The same day the Museum located on the ground floor of the Church was opened too.
