	April 5 - commemoration day of St. Grigor Lusavorich (Gregory the Illuminator) commitment to the pit It’s been one week since the Youth Unions disseminate announcements over the Facebook social network on organizing a pilgrimage to Khor Virap Monastery Complex on April 5. That day our Church celebrates the entry of St. Grigor Lusavorich to the pit. On April 5, the curtains of all churches bearing the name Lusavorich and that of Khor Virap Monastery, will be opened that are shut during the Great Lent. A Divine Liturgy will be offered.
	Sunday of Unjust Judge: Divine Liturgy in Holy Etchmiadzin Fifth Sunday of the Great Lent is called Sunday of Unjust Judge. The parable exhorts on the need of persistent and ceaseless prayer. End-March heavy snow and freezing were rather unexpected. This Sunday the believers also pray for the protection of the harvest.
	Today is the tenth day of Kessab attack The displaced Armenians of Kessab are supported by the Catholicosate of Cilicia, AGBU Lebanon Office, and Armenian communities of America, Canada, France and other countries, Syrian Government. On March 29, dozens of Armenians, Syrians and Bulgarians held a demonstration in front of the Turkish Embassy in Sofia.
	Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin condemned the terrorist attacks by extremists in Kessab During a consultation at the Mother See, the Patriarch of All Armenians affirmed that the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and its diocesan structures dispersed throughout the Diaspora will continue to support the Syrian Armenians.
	Bells of St. Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) Church of Vanadzor were consecrated After blessing the Church bells, the Primate of Gugark Diocese, His Grace Sebouh Chouldjian handed a blessing message to the benefactor Artak Evoyan.
	Commemoration Day of HovhanVorotnetsi and Grigor Tatevatsi Along with patriarch Hovhan Odznetsi, our Church also commemorates famous theologists Hovhan Vorotnetsi, Grigor Tatevatsi and renowned IV century preacher St. Hovhan the Patriarch of Jerusalem.
	Pilgrimage to Odzun and Ardvi Every year, on the Saturday of third week of the Lent, hundreds of pilgrims go to Odzun and Ardvi to mark Hovhannes Odznetsi’s commemoration day. On that very same day, under the presidency of His Holiness Sebou, Primate of Gugark Diocese, and Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the spiritual pastor of the community, Father Vrtanes Baghalyan, offered an open-air Divine Liturgy.
	Sunday of Steward: Divine Liturgy at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin This Sunday, March 23, the parable of unjust steward is remembered. The Sunday of Steward has the sacrament of forgiving the debts and sharing one’s riches with the poor.
	Newly consecrated priests in Lent Ten priests are in 40-day Lent at the Mother See. The Lent for the newly consecrated priests will be over on the Feast of Tsakhkazard (Palm Sunday), April 13.
	Bardzrakash St. Grigor Monastery in Lori Marz included in the list of “Most Endangered” monuments “Europa Nostra”, the Pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage, and European Investment Bank Institute announces the preliminary list of most endangered monument and sites for this year. One of the 11 monuments in the list is 7th century Bardzrakash St. Grigor Monastery located in Lori Marz.
	Sunday of the Lost (Prodigal) Son: Divine Liturgy at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin “A human being commits sins in his life, whether wantedly or unwantedly, yet blessed is the one who will have enough courage, like the prodigal son, to repent and ask for forgiveness of his sins from God by saying: “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight”, said His Grace Hovnan at the Divine Liturgy of the Third Sunday of the Great Lent, the Sunday of the Lost Son.
	Sunday of Expulsion: Divine Liturgy in Holy Etchmiadzin Second Sunday of the Great Lent is called that of Expulsion and symbolized the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Heaven because of disobeying. The Divine Liturgy is offered in close curtains, no Communion and part is distributed.
