	Concert of Artsakh State Academic Choir in the Armenian Church Complex of Moscow 2014 is declared year of Komitas to his 145th anniversary. Recently by the blessing of Rev. Father Yezras, Artsakh State Academic Choir performed in the Armenian Church Complex of Moscow. At the concert KomitasVardapet’ folk, labor, wedding and joke songs were heard.
	“Commander Vazgen Sargsyan” Medal to the Supreme Patriarch Karekin II Lieutenant General Manvel Grigoryan, President of the Volunteer Defenders Union, granted to the Catholicos of All Armenians the medal of “Commander Vazgen Sargsyan”. It is the highest order of the Volunteer Defenders Union (Yerkrapah) bestowed for the individual bravery in the defense of homeland borders, support to the Army and establishment of the Armenian sovereignty.
	Las bell tolled at Eurnekian Public School Today, from early morning all schools of the Republic were in festive high spirits. The last bell tolled. Today 25 thousand 12th graders will step in a new life cycle. Our TV crew was in Eurnekian Public School supported by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
	Event program of Eurnekian School dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide On the initiative of the RA Ministry of Education and Science, this year all public schools will hold diverse events towards the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Eurnekian Public School functioning by the support of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, has already prepared the list of events, where the issues on the recognition, condemnation and demand for the Great Genocide will be addressed.
	Regional phase of the contest “Best Teacher of the Year” was finalized in Lori Marz Recently, the regional phase of the contest “Best Teacher of the Year” was launched in Lori Marz. The participants were the teachers teaching Armenian language and literature, Armenian History, natural sciences, as well as the class leads. The winners of the regional phase are known.
	One-week visit of the specialist of old languages Olga Chevela to the Mother See At the invitation of Gevorkian Theological Seminary, Olga Chevela, a professor-docent from Kazan Theological Seminary, was hosted in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. She studies the very first translations of the Holy Bible, including in Grabar (Old Armenian).
	St. Karapet Church in the borderland Janfida village consecrated Every day, the residents of Janfida village in Armavir Marz, hear the voice of namaz (Muslim prayer) from the bordering Turkey. They don’t hide their discontent in respect to the fact that no church bells ring here. The community budget was scant and their co-villager Artur Karapetyan living in Russia assumed the charitable responsibility to support the construction of a Church. Construction of the sacred place started in 2010 and today St. Karapet Church was consecrated. With Patriarchal Encyclical of the Catholicos of All Armenians the philanthropist was granted an Order of St. Gregory the Illuminator.
	Branch of Armenian State Philharmonic opened in Lori Marz Center Hereafter, the Culture House after Charles Aznavour in Vanadzor will be the address of the branch Armenian State Philharmonic in Lori Marz. As it is necessary to have a local staff collected whenever concerts and other musical events are held, it was determined to set up the branch in Vanadzor.
	“Extend Your Arm to Your Brother”- city-wide fundraising action in Vanadzor It’s been a few years since the Youth Union of Grigor Narekatsi Church, with the blessing of Archbishop Sebouh Chouldjian, implements charity action “Extend Your Arm”. To pass the good tidings of the Holy Resurrection and perform home blessing ceremony, young people accompanied by Father Vahan, visited 15 families living in dire need.
	Visit of Helsinki Metropolitan to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Metropolitan Ambrosios, Bishop of the Diocese of Helsinki, visited Armenian by invitation of Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, joined by Antti Heikinheimo, Attorney and Timo Kiteveyne, Deputy Head of the Union of the Finnish Municipality.Armenian Patriarch presented the successes recorded in the ecumenical sphere and addressed the pressing issues impeding the ecclesiastical life and environment of love. The guests of Holy Etchmiadzin took part in the Divine Liturgy of the New Sunday of Easter.
	Re-consecration of St. Nshan Church of Getargel St. Nshan Church located adjacent to the Arinj village of Kotayk Marz used to form a part of a famous monastery complex founded in the 7th century. The not so easy task of restoring the Church had been entrusted to the architect Gayane Nazlukhanyan. Today St. Nshan was re-consecrated.
	Commemoration Day of the Armenian Genocide in the Dioceses of the Armenian Church On the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a number of processions and events were held in the Diaspora Dioceses of the Armenian Church, especially in those countries where the Genocide hasn’t been recognized yet.
