Serouj AprahamianSerouj Aprahamian is in Armenia only for a year, but he has made up his mind not to go back to US. He works in an NGO called “The Foundation Against the Violation of Law”, is a correspondent to the Armenian Weekly feeding with articles on Armenia and teaches breakdance in Tumo Center. “I am not a romantic, I see and deal with the problems in Armenia just like many others, but I do want to stay here and ‘infect’ both those who leave the country and those who return with my own example”, says Serouj. |

Emma SoghoyanEmma Soghoyan thinks that it is possible to return to homeland, live and act. Carl and Emma Soghoyans started supporting Armenia from the USA since the Karabakh war and the earthquake of Spitak in 1988. The offer received in 2000 on reconstructing the Church in Vayk brought them back to Armenia yet another time. "The most vital initiative, however, is the opening of Manuscript Hall of the Mother See, which is the outcome of Carl's last 30 years efforts. I am extremely happy that the manuscripts are home at last, my only pity is that Carl did not see it, but I am sure that he is also satisfied; this is a special come-back to his homeland", - says Ms. Emma. |

There are many Armenians born far from their Motherland. They came to Armenia – to their home, either due to certain circumstances, or with a special intention to fulfillthe dream of their own or their fathers.
