The fourth edition of the “Bilingual Dramatic Workshop” in Armenia: Serzh Avetikian is on “Artfocus”
 
The “Bilingual Dramatic Workshop” has been operating for 3 years at the initiative of French-Armenian actor, film director, and producer Serzh Avetikian. As in previous years, this year too the workshop will bring together 25 young actors and will provide them with the opportunity to get acquainted with the methodology of work of internationally recognized guest artists, the traditions and trends of modern theater and cinema. At the end of the program, ten young artists will have the opportunity to undergo professional internship in France. Serzh Avetikian spoke about the “Bilingual Dramatic Workshop,” as well as other theater and cinema projects, on “Artfocus.” The program was hosted by Anahit Margaryan.

"Paros" Chamber Choir Part 1


The "Paros" Chamber Choir performs Robert Petrosyan's "Fantasy on Themes of Sayat-Nova" and Arvo Pärt's "Rejoice, Holy Virgin." The choir's artistic director and conductor is Raffi Mikayelyan.

The "Kayt" orchestra and soloist Koryun Davtyan performed the compositions "Tagpar" and "Ascension Song." The artistic director is Grigor Kartashyan.

"Kamar" choir


The "Kamar" choir, whose artistic director and conductor is Anahit Papayan, performed the poems "The Wonderful Origin" (arranged by Yervand Yerkanyan) and "Light, Mother of Light" (arranged by Daniel Yerazhti) by St. Movses Khorenatsi, the composition "Hosanna" (arranged by Tatul Altunyan), and the secular chorus "Go, See" (arranged by Kristapor Kara-Murza).

"Taluys" choir Part 1


The Tavush Diocese's "Taluys" choir performed a spiritual repertoire. The choir performed the works of Komitas Vardapet's "Hayr Mer", St. Grigor Lusavorich's "Luys i Luso", St. Mesrop Mashtots' "Luys Pharats", and St. Nerses Shnorhali's "Aravot Luso". The choir's artistic director and conductor is Maria Galstyan.

"Legata" choir -Part 2


The "Legata" choir, conducted by Alvard Petrosyan, performs Stepan Lusikyan's "Free Armenia," Hank Beebe's "Hats," and Moira Smiley's "Bring Me Water, Sylvie."

"Sun Bells" Choir, Part 2


The "Sun Bells" choir performed Charles Aznavour's "A Life of Love", St. Mesrop Mashtots' "Your Many Graces", and St. Nerses Shnorhali's "Morning Light". Artistic director, conductor - Manush Harutyunyan.

"Legata" choir-Part 2


The "Legata" choir, conducted by Alvard Petrosyan, performed the song "For Me You Are a Shining Spring and Mother" by composer Robert Amirkhanyan and the composition "Sing, Sing, Sing" by Louis Prima, arranged by Philip Kearny.

Pianist Nare Hayrapetyan performed Robert Schumann's "Arabesque" and Arno Babajanyan's "Dance of the Vagharshapat."
