My Palm Sunday


The altar of the St. Gayane Monastery was full of children Palm Sunday. Little scribes from different communities joined the festive liturgy. Children tell about a day full of surprises.

George, Allen and Norayr come to Artashat with their families from Burastan village every Sunday.  We met the brothers in St. Hovhannes church while climbing the altar, and the mother while singing in the choir.

We met Alex and Arman at the Holy Cross Church in Dilijan. One of the brothers decided to become a Priest, following the example of his beloved Reverend father.

Scribe Vazgen Sargsyan


Scribe Vazgen Sargsyan, after studying in Harichivank, entered the Vazgenian seminary.  Soon he gathers a group, which begins to perform the Komitas liturgy. Vazgen is proficient in several musical instruments: piano, guitar, violin. He is a member of the ethnographic song-dance ensemble "Veradardz". Recently, he has also become obsessed with Hamshen culture.

Ashkhen Baghdasaryan


Ashkhen Baghdasaryan is the wife of Rev. Fr. Tachat Barseghyan. Ashkhen, who was in love with photography had no idea that she would connect her life with a clergyman. And today she already has her own small photography studio in Vanadzor.

Vahe Abroyan's Mother


Everything at home reminds of the son who died in the war. You need the strength to finish unfinished things. That power was given to the Abroyan family through the birth of little Vahan.
