Pan-European rallies against the genocidal actions of Azerbaijan


On October 1, demonstrations and gatherings condemning the ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijan in Artsakh took place in various European cities: Prague, Brussels, London, Vienna, Athens, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Lisbon, Paris, Bofia, Marseille, Warsaw, as well as Montreal, Canada. Gavit" platform discusses the theme "Armenia and Artsakh: ontological challenges"

On October 5, the Catholicos of All Armenians hosted the leader of the Anglican Church, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiatsin. The Vatican called for monitoring of the Nagorno Karabakh Christian heritage


On October 4, the 16th General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops began in the Vatican. It called for monitoring of Christian heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh. The international community has been urged to provide humanitarian support to around one hundred thousand displaced Artsakh citizens in order to overcome the humanitarian emergency. On behalf of the Catholicos of All Armenians, Fr. Archbishop Parsamyan of Khajak attended the Assembly. 

The Catholicos Met Pilgrims from the Eastern and Western Dioceses of the Armenian Church of North America


Several dozen pilgrims from different American cities will spend a few days in Armenia with the clergy of the diocese to fulfill their vows, as well as participate in the episcopal ordination to be held at the Mother See. His Holiness presented to the pilgrims the disturbing situation related to Artsakh and the forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians, emphasized the importance of the Diaspora in making the Armenian voice heard in the world. The pilgrims were led by Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Mesrop Parsamyan.

The powerful sanctities of the Armenian Church and the Blessing of the Holy Muron


Muron is blessed with three important sanctuaries of the Armenian Church: the relic of Christ's cross, Holy Lance of Geghard and the Holy Right of Patriarch Gregory the Illuminator. Thousands of pilgrims come to Holy Etchmiadzin on the days of Blessing of the Holy Muron. On September 24, in the St. Gayane monastery, under the leadership of the Catholicos of All Armenians, a requiem service was held for the repose of the souls of the martyred Armenians as a result of the large-scale military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan in Artsakh.

As of the afternoon of September 25, around 5,000 forcibly displaced Artsakh citizens have arrived in Armenia

October 1 is a nationwide prayer day for Artsakh under the chairmanship of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. On that day, various sanctuaries and sacred relics will be brought out.
