ACYO 2018: One of Four Hundred
Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II proclaimed 2018 a year of youth. The first half of the year was filled with numerous youth programs, the most important of them was the program of the world youth union of the Armenian Church "Towards the Motherland, towards Holy Etchmiadzin".
Since July 4, 400 young people from different diocese of the Armenian Church of the world have been in the homeland. George Najarian, from the Armenian Diocese of Australia, is one of those young people.

Daniel Varuzhan: Heathen Songs
Poetry collection of Daniel Varuzhan “Heathen Songs” raised huge wave of enthusiasm in 1913. Due to that, heathen literary movement got new start. However, the aesthetics program of Varuzhan was cut short: the Armenian Genocide took place in 1915 and all plans were disrupted.
The collection “Heathen Songs” remained unsurpassed with its new and unique aesthetics and one of a kind ever.

New Year and Christmas Tree
It’s been 14 years now that Movses Poghosyan grows fir trees in the backyard of Armenian branch of German Red Cross “House of Hope” of Yerevan. The ancestors of these green beauties come from Germany; the philanthropist and coordinator of the program priest Carl-Heinz Schaide sent the seedlings from his homeland.
