The degrees of acolytes, oratory, and semi-deaconry were given at the Mother Cathedral.In front of the Holy Table of the Descent, Bishop Makar Hakobyan, Primate of the Diocese of Syunik, conferred the degrees of scholastic, oratorical, and semi-deacon upon the students of the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary and the Priest Training Course. A Liturgy was celebrated under the presiding authority of the Catholicos of All Armenians. 11 students of the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary and one graduate of the Priest Training Course were ordained deacons by His Bishop Makar. |

The ARAR Choir's concert dedicated to Yervand Yerkanyan was held at the Ruben Sevak Museum
The ARAR choir performed spiritual and secular choruses developed by Yervand Yerkanyan: Mashtots, Shnorhali, Komitas, Tumanyan, Klayetsi. Yervand Yerkanyan was also present at the evening. He expressed his gratitude and thanks to the choir and the museum for new inspirations and exciting moments. The composer expressed his admiration for the girls, Gor Melkumyan, who not only keep his works alive, but also increase their number in the repertoire year after year.

By the Encyclical of the Catholicos of All Armenians, priests have been granted the right to wear the pectoral cross
The Armenian Patriarch blessed the priests and wished them to never lose their commitment to serving God and the nation. His Holiness highly appreciated their contribution in organizing the blessing of the Holy Muron and the reconsecration ceremonies of the Mother Cathedral. The priests who received the right to wear the pectoral cross have served in the structures of the Mother See for about 25 years.

5 students of Gevorgyan Theological Seminary defended the graduation ceremony
One of the themes of the master's thesis defense was the cooperation of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople and Holy Etchmiadzin in the Armenian issue between 1877 and 1914. The other is "The Church and the Family in the 21st Century values and challenges". There was another final seminar on the topic "The issue of mutual respect of apostles in Armenian-Catholic relations in the 11th-13th centuries".

The Catholicos of All Armenians received the clergymen of the Clergy Training Course
The Clergy Training Course program started last year and already the 13th group is completing the course. They spend three weeks in the monastery, participate in church services, liturgies, listen to the lectures of various clergymen and lay professionals every day, update their ritual, theological, and historical knowledge. The 14th group will arrive at the Mother See in December.

The Mother See awarded a medal to the spouses living in Greece
Ashot and Lora Tunyan were awarded with higher honors, the Order of Gregory the Illuminator for supporting the Mother See for many years, especially for their role in protecting the rights of the Armenian Church in Myanmar. This couple also donated solar electricity and water heating plants to the Mother See, took care of their installation. In the Pontifical Encyclical, the donation made by the Tunyans for the renovation of the Mother Cathedral is also mentioned.

After the reconsecration of the Cathedral, the first episcopal ordination and consecration took place
The Catholicos of All Armenians was led in a church procession to the Cathedral to offer the Divine Liturgy and perform episcopal ordination. Four benefactors of the church were assisiting His Holiness. His Holiness was accompanied by the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople and Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan. The Armenian Patriarch, with prayer and blessing, granted the seven degrees of the episcopal rank on the newly ordained, preached and instructed them to take care of Christ's flock, being faithful to the teachings of the church fathers and saints. Here, six bishops were given the omophorion, which is part of the episcopal vestment.
