The program presents the cultural days spent in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2012 and reflects on the historical-cultural heritage, history of certain cities, Armenian community of Jordan.

Bells


The reason why the band is named "Bells" does not have to do with the fact that they play with bells. The musical instruments bring interesting feeling of hearing bell chimes to the listeners. The instruments were a gift to Araratian Diocese from a group with the similar name coming from US to Armenia. For a while, the "Bells" silently waited its conductor and musicians. At that time, Vahe Keshishian, a musician from Diaspora, studied in Yerevan Musical Conservatory.Today, he is not only the conductor of the "Bells", but also a permanent resident of Armenia.

Sayat-Nova: a song, a symbol, a legend


As characterised by Hovhannes Tumanyan, the ''enormous lover'' Sayat-Nova continues living in the Armenian cultural reality as a song, a symbol and legent, together with his mysterious biography so full of enigma, with different perception and interpretations of his works. Many films on his life were produced, numerous researches of his life already and still being written, nonetheless, the secrets of his creations are endless and the beauty of his plays are never-ending.

Vazgen Bazhbeuk Melikyan: notes


Painter Vazgen Bazhbeuk Melikyan is the son of is Alexander Bazhbeuk Melikyan, a classic of Armenian painting, not a bit less talented than his father and painter sisters, although less popular and covered. The film is an opportunity to come to know one of the exclusive Armenian painters with his deliberations. You can hear the notes of Vazgen Bazhbeuk Melikyan scored in the film.
