Our clergymen from different cities of Russia, Central Asia and Moldova celebrated the Feast of Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ with the faithful at the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Moscow.

At the invitation of the Diocesan Primate, two leading painters-restorers of the St. Petersburg State Museum of History and Religion arrived in Moscow to clean the icons of the Holy Transfiguration Armenian Church.

The Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan organized an Easter song festival with the participation of choirs from the Russian Orthodox, Catholic, and Evangelical Lutheran Churches, as well as the choir of the Holy Transfiguration Armenian Church in Moscow.

On April 24, in the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Moscow, under the presidency of His Emience Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan, a liturgy was served, at the conclusion of which an intercessory rite was held in memory of the holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. The diocesan primate read the message of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the Genocide.

The Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan has provided humanitarian aid to those who emigrated from the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as to the residents of Mariupol who spent days in hiding in fear and need.

In all the churches of the Armenian Diocese of New Nakhichevan in Russia, including the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of Moscow, a festive Holy Resurrection liturgy was offered. 

The diocesan Primate, following the example of Jesus, knelt down, washed and anointed the feet of twelve people, the youngest of whom was Samvel Asatryan, a second grade student of Narekatsi School and the oldest was humorist Evgeni Petrosyan.

Today, as the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Lord's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, Komitas's liturgy is sounded in the Armenian Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Moscow. 

On April 7, on the Feast of the Annunciation of the Holly Virgin Mary, a personal exhibition of Moscow-based painter Ruben Apresyan dedicated to the memory of the artist's late mother, Alla Apresyan, opened at the "Tapan" Museum of the Armenian Church in Moscow.

The Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Moscow was full not only with newlyweds. People came to the temple to take lit candles with the hope that love, peace, and happiness would prevail in their families.
