To meet the request of Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan – the Primate of the Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan, the right hand reliquary of St. Gevork the Warrior was taken from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin by the blessing of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. On September 24, the commemoration day of the saint, the holy relic was taken to St. Gevork Chapel in Moscow for the worship of believers.

Candlelight and Sunday Divine Liturgy in Holy Transfiguration Church of Moscow
Vast number of Moscow-based Armenians took part in the Holy Resurrection Candlelight Divine Liturgy. Upon its completion, the clergy of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan headed by its Primate Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan blessed the Easter tables arranged in the backyard of the Holy Transfiguration Church Complex. A home blessing ceremony was held in the Prelacy. The Sunday Divine Liturgy was followed by the Love Dinner, while in the Museum “Arc” a miniature exhibition titled “Heritage of Holy Resurrection” was opened. Philanthropist Levon Hayrapetyan presented the self-portrait of Minas Avetisyan to the Church.
