Relic of the Lord’s Cross in the Holy Cross Church of Samara


On May 26, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, the Primate of the Armenian Dioceses of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan paid a pastoral visit to Samara taking the Relic of the Lord’s Cross with him. The Armenians settled in Samara had the opportunity to touch the holy relic in the Holy Cross Church till late night and enjoy the grace it shed.

The Right Hand Reliquary of St. Gevork the Warrior was taken to Moscow from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin


To meet the request of Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan – the Primate of the Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan, the right hand reliquary of St. Gevork the Warrior was taken from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin by the blessing of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. On September 24, the commemoration day of the saint, the holy relic was taken to St. Gevork Chapel in Moscow for the worship of believers.
