Students of Gulameryan Youth Center Win First Prizes at International Painting Festivals


Students in the painting class of the Gulameryan Youth Center of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin draw, create, and participate in republican and international competitions and exhibitions. The children have represented Armenia at a high level at remote festivals held in Spain, Italy, Japan, and Iran. 23 students study in the painting class of the Youth Center. The children also study the history of the Armenian Church, rituals, and national and folk holidays.

 

The recreation and bedroom section of the FAR Children's Protection Center has been renovated


The children's bedroom section is ready after the renovation at the Children's Protection Center of the Armenian Apostolic Church's Armenian Relief Fund. They were temporarily accommodated in the first floor, in the classrooms, during the renovation. Bathrooms have been added, the bedrooms and areas for children's play, entertainment and relaxation have been newly furnished. The Ashtarak Youth Center "Gulameryan" Dhol Players of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin participated in the "World Art Games" International Competition Festival held remotely in Spain and won an honorable first place. The Dhol class has been operating since 2015. There are currently 18 students studying there. There are 14 classes in the Ashtarak Youth Center Gulameryan. Mari Vardanyan participated in the Delphic Games of the CIS countries in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and was awarded a gold medal. The idea of ​​the chapel was built by a resident of the community, Samvel Hovsepyan. His son was killed in the 44-day war.

The Armenian diocese of France has 25 Armenian churches, 24 parishes. Bishop Grigor came to the Mother See with the president of the diocesan council and members of the community.
