Feast of Exaltation in the Holy Cross Church in Arabkir


Holy Cross called churches are especially crowded during the Feast of Exaltation. His Grace Bishop Vardan Navasardyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the Baltic States, performed the festive liturgy in the newly built Church of the Cross in the Arabkir community.

The "Descendants of Vardanants" brass band of the Diocese performed a solo concert in the courtyard of St. Grigor Narekatsi of the Diocese of Gugark. 

The cross of Geghardavank was re-consecrated under the chairmanship of the Patriarch of All Armenians


The cross from the dome of the Geghardavank Catholic Church was removed during the church and dome strengthening works. Before re-installation, according to the order of the Armenian Church, the cross was consecrated again. The ceremony was presided over by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
