First comprehensive book about Grigor Shghtayakir (Chain-bearer) Patriarch was published

Armenian pilgrimages in Jerusalem were preserved and inherited to us in the result of endless fights over the rights on these places. One of the key roles in this fight was that of Grigor Shghtayakir (Chain-bearer) Patriarch. The book “Grigor Shghtayakir Patriarch” published by the Patriarchal See of Jerusalem is about his life, activities and literary contribution. The author of the work is Norayr Poghosyan, docent of Yerevan State University.
