Eight days after the Hoy Nativity, on January 13, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of Naming our Lord Jesus Christ. According to the Jewish law, on the eighth day of His birth, like any other newborn boy, Jesus was circumcised and given a name.
