Lately, the press covers extensive discussions on the issue of a bank account in the Swiss branch of HSBC, owned by the Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians. Doctor of Law, Professor Gevorg Danielyan noted, that the disclosure of confidential information doesn’t contain any illegitimate element in it. The issue was commented by Gagik Minasyan, Editor-in-Chief of “Education” Weekly. The speakers also addressed the issue of tax exemptions granted to the Armenian Apostolic Church.
