Sergey Sarkisov awarded the Order of St. Gregory the Illuminator

On February 21, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians granted the Order of St. Gregory the Illuminator of the Armenian Apostolic Church to national philanthropist Sergey Sarkisov in appreciation of his philanthropic endeavors and service to the Armenian people and Armenian Church. The Catholicos emphasized the unprecedented role of St. Gevork Cathedral of Tbilisi in the life of Armenian Diocese of Georgia, which reconstruction owes much to the investment of Sarkisov.
