The Christmas Liturgy at the Moscow Cathedral was attended not only by Armenians from Moscow, but also from the Moscow region and nearby cities. Some citizens followed the ceremony from abroad. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the diocesan Primate, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan. The Liturgy was followed by a water blessing ceremony. As an appreciation for the church-building and patriotic activities, Georgy Avagumyan was elected the 2025 Godfather of the water blessing of the Holy Transfiguration Church.
