Clergy who intentionally omit the name of the Catholicos during the Liturgy may be severely punished

Following the meeting of the Armenian bishops and diocesan leaders, the Department of Information System of the Mother See published a statement. According to which, the Bishop's Synod condemns the deliberate omission of the names of the Catholicos of All Armenians and the diocesan leader by individual clergy during the Divine Liturgy. According to the statement, this action is subject to the strictest punishment if the clergyman does not repent and correct his uncanonical course.
