On December 6, until late in the evening, St. Harutyun Church in Spitak was crowded. A requiem service was held in memory of the victims of the 1988 earthquake, presided over by Archbishop Sepuh Chuljyan, Primate of the Diocese of Gugark On December 7, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, members of the government and a large number of guests visited St. Harutyun Church in Spitak. They also took part in the unveiling ceremony of the bust of American-Armenian philanthropist Kirk Kerkorian erected next to the church.
