The concert was initiated by the parish council of the Holy Archangels' Church.
The Enlightenment School Choir of Constantinople, under the direction of Hakob Mamikonyan performed. The ceremony was presided over by Patriarch Sahak II with the participation of the spiritual class of the patriarchate. The choir presented Komitas polyphonic songs. Tamar Eskenyan, a relative of Komitas, played the flute, shvi and duduk, and also sang.
