A scholastic ceremony was held at the Armenian Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Moscow by the diocesan leader, Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan. 25 church-loving Armenians serving in the Armenian churches of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Simferopol, Volgograd, Kirov, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Tambov, Nizhny Novgorod, and Rostov-on-Don received the degree of scholastic. 3 of them also received the right to wear the orarion.
