The documentary of filmmaker Vahe Ian “No One Writes to the Colonel” won “Best Short Documentary of the Year” at the prestigious NUR Film Festival in Canada. The film is based on the story of Ukrainian Vitali Radchenko, who came to Nagorno Karabakh in 90-ies with his Armenian friend Zakar not to leave his friend alone in the battlefield. After the end of war, Vitali found it dangerous to return to his homeland.
