Beirut-Armenian Talin Marikian donated Narekatsi's "Book of Tragedy" 1807 to the Matenadaran- a Venetian edition. Thanks to the donation of the Honorary Doctor of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, London resident Vrezh (Father Nerses the High Priest) Nersesyan, the Ethiopian, Arabic and Ottoman literature of the 17th-18th centuries is also the property of the Matenadaran.
