On the evening of February 13, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Eve of Presentation of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple, symbolizing the offering of the baby Jesus to the temple. The procession of the clergy met the Catholicos of All Armenians at the Saint Gayane Monastery. An Evening Service was held, then the Andastan service was held, the four corners of the world were blessed. Later, the Catholicos of All Armenians lit the Tearnyndaraj fire from the fire taken from the church torches.
