The third international conference was held by the Armenian Relief Fund in collaboration with specialists from the Institute of Nutrition at Columbia University in New York and the Texas Center for Agricultural, Food and Nutrition Science, the World Food Program, and the American University in Armenia. Studies conducted in medical institutions have shown that young children have a problem of malnutrition. As a result, the Armenian Relief Fund provided funds to provide kindergartens in the region with healthy food, provided food packages to the children's families, and also engaged a medical consultant.
