The funeral service for national benefactor Gerard Trbanjian was held at the Church of the Holy Archangels of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. He made a significant contribution, especially in the field of education. The benefactor’s name is given to the Harichavank monastery’s seminary, where future clergy receive their education.
