About fifty academicians of Armenian origin gathered in the church's ceremonial hall. The diocesan Primate, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, noted that it is through their service that humanity experiences spiritual and intellectual development, and countries progress. During the evening, students from the St. Gregory of Narek School and the St. Nerses the Merciful Youth Center, operating under the auspices of the Armenian Church in Moscow, had performances.
