Armenian Writings (Literature) and Greek-Roman Literary Traditions

Armenian written culture had in diverse ties with the ancient of classical literature. It will be difficult to explore the Armenian medieval literature without comparingit with the Greek-Roman historic-literary traditions. Hayk Hambardzumyan spoke about medieval literary-cultural ties, the relation between Greek-Roman and Armenian literature with Gohar Muradyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Head of the Division for Study and Translation of Ancient Manuscripts in Matenadaran.
