From a young age we know the most tragic child of Armenian literature, Gikor. Gikor's fate makes us think about the injustice of life, the cruelty of people and the protection of children. Gikor's story, as a traumatic memory, accompanies us, developing a certain attitude towards the city and trade. Hovhannes Tumanyan manages to convince us that such heroes can have no other destiny, but there are also other examples of Armenian literature that prove the opposite. The critics of Armenian literature are discussed by literary critics Hayk Hambardzumyan Arkmenik Nikoghosyan in "Parallel Readings".
