On April 23, 2015, canonization ceremony for the victims of the Armenian Genocide took place at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. For the last 400 years, no canonization ceremony was ever held in the Armenian Church. The Bishops Congregation restored the procedure of collective canonization. Bishops of Armenian Church, composer Yervand Yerkanyan, leaders of Christian sister cities, high ranking officials and representatives of Catholic and Orthodox churches tell about the process of restoring canonization procedure and this historic ceremony.
